I teach craft classes
I am a guest teacher at various craft emporia including Sconch near Braintree and Craft Days in Saffron Walden. Crochet
I've been crocheting for 15 years and now teach classes - I can teach beginners the basics, I also teach an introduction to Tunisian crochet. ​

Drop spindling
I learned to spin in 2001 and now teach an introduction to drop spindling. This is such a low-tec craft and is so easy to learn.

I will be teaching a full day beginners class at Sconch on Saturday 6th & Saturday 27th November- please contact Sconch to book on 01376 743123 This class starts with using a spindle and then introduces a bit of fibre preparation (for those that have wheels you can join the workshop and we will work with the wheel in the afternoon)

Dyeing
I joined my local guild of weavers, spinners & dyers in 2001 and have been dyeing both naturally and otherwise ever since - this is such an exciting and colourful craft and extremely easy to learn.

I teach three classes currently - the first two are a quick introduction to dyeing using acid dyes and Kool-Aid or a quick introduction to Shibori techniques using Procion dyes on a cotton bag, and finally an all day workshop on Natural Dyeing.
